Our Volunteers



Ms S. Senbagam, aged about 24 years, holds a Master of Arts in History (M.A.,). She is working as an administrative officer in a private company in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. It is a pleasure to note that she is preparing for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) examination, which could lead to a very prestigious and highly prominent post in the  Indian government service. She is one of the volunteers helping out in most of Mr Mahendiran’s activities especially in helping Mrs Alamelu (an old lady who was seen at Avinashi, Coimbatore area) to rejoin with her family members.



 

Mr.Mohanasundaram.J, is a B.Sc., graduate in computer science from a reputed college in Tamilnadu. He is about 22 years and working as a Programmer in a well known private company at Coimbatore. He is one of the important volunteers who used to help Mr Mahendiran in almost all activities. He used to visit various homes in Coimbatore, Tamil nadu, India almost daily and serve people who are under privileged. He was one of the helping hands in rescuing and sending an old lady, named Mrs Petchiyammal, to her house in Rathinapuri, Coimbatore. He was much appreciated by Mrs Petchiammal and her family members.


Mrs. Manimegalai, B. Com, aged about Aged 45, is in charge of a local branch of one of the well known private financial institutions, Sakthi Finance Financial Services Limited, Chennai. She has been  involved in social activities for the past few years. Once she came to know about Mr Mahendiran, she used to start donating various home appliances and items to few homes in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu with the help of her friends.

 

Ms. Kaushigha.Rm, aged 22, is a graduate from a well-known college and as of now doing Master of Business Administration (MBA) part-time. She is working as a Radio Jockey in “Hello FM”, a private radio station in Coimbatore for the past few years. She is associated with Mr Mahendiran in various social activities. Moreover, she is a regular visitor of “ Neyam old age home” Vadavalli, Coimbatore. One day, she happened to see an old man, Mr Subramaniyam (aged about 90), near her working place at the road side. As she knew already about Mr Mahendiran, she informed him immediately and rescued with the help of his friends Mr Adi Thabasu and Mr Mohan Sundaram and admitted  him in a home near R.S. Puram Coimbatore.



Mr. Magesh alias S.Maheshkumar, aged 21 years, is doing B.Tech., (Information Technology) at Karpagam Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. He is associated with Mr Mahendiran for the past few months in all his social activities. He used to visit few homes in Coimbatore especially Corner stone home at the weekends and in assisting the needy people for their day to day activities. He was the back bone behind in helping the man, Mr Paatan @ Pazhani.

 

Mrs. M. Vasantha, is a well-qualified woman, who holds Master degree in Arts (M.A., DPCS, HDCA). She is about 33 years and native of Udumalpet, Tiruppur District, Tamilnadu. She is working as a Merchandiser in a garment export company and is associated with many social activities during her vacations. She used to visit few homes in and around Coimbatore area and celebrate important festive seasons with the elderly and needy people at homes.

Mr. Sudarsan. R, aged 24, is a civil Engineer by profession. He is working as a civil Engineer in a well reputed private construction company, Larsen and Toubro company, Chennai. He used to help Mr Mahendiran on ad-hoc basis in his free time. He helps in assisting the needy and older people during his holidays and festivals at home.

 


Mr. Madhusuthanan, aged about 29 years, has obtained diploma in technical education (D.Ted.,). He is residing at Karur and working as a service engineer at LG mobiles company. He is involved in many social activities.


Mr. Pragadeesh Prabhu, aged about 24 years. He has done his Diploma in Hotel management from a reputed college. He is helping his father in his family business and actively involved in social activities.



 

Mr. C. Vijayakumar, aged about 43 years is basically a tailor by profession. He used to help low income group school children at the time of school admission time by stitching the school uniforms. He has been helping 10 to 20 students every year in this manner free of cost He is also a regular visitor to Ettimadai- Assesse Sneagalaya which is mainly meant to help children who are affected by “HIV / AIDS” disease.

About Us

Though EEERA NENJAM was established in April 2012, we started working on this project in 2009.  So far, we have reunited 12 mentally-challenged people with their families....  Read more..
